We are a small team of highly focused professionals with an extensive and up-to-date network, experience in international trading and distinct knowledge of the Portuguese and Asian trading markets.
Established in 2013, we have vast experience representing European products and brands in Asia, linking suppliers and buyers, providing procurement services, and offering assistance in import/export operations between Europe and Asia.
We are based out of Lisbon, Portugal, with a regular presence in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.
BERNARDO MENDIA

Bernardo Mendia is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Trinestcon Trading Consultants. His geographical focus is Hong Kong, greater China, and Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries. His experience ranges from international trade to negotiation, from building pipeline sales to developing markets and from international logistics to the sourcing of products. Over the years, he has developed a particular set of skills managing institutional and government relations, research, lobbying and networking.
Bernardo is also the current President of the Board of the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHKCCI), Secretary General of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC), as well as Advisor to the Board of JEUNE – Young Entrepreneurs Organization of the European Union.
Bernardo is married, has two sons, is an avid learner and passionate about sports and adventure.
CARLOS TORRES
Chief operating officer
Carlos Torres serves as Trinestcon’s Chief Operating Officer. He has always taken a keen interest in the trading of goods industry and enjoys the negotiation process with people. He has been working full-time within these fields for over five years at Trinestcon, amassing experience and a significant track record of successful deals.
With a background in Business Management, Carlos has been exploring the Chinese market since 2014. He travels throughout greater China and Hong Kong on a regular basis, frequently representing and/or accompanying clients to meetings, conferences, exhibitions and business missions.
In addition, Carlos is the General Secretary of the Board of the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHKCCI), as well as the Co-Founder and Vice-President of AJENOR – Young North Entrepreneurs Association.
